Originally constructed as a utility substation building in the 1940s, Studio Design Group coordinated an extensive seismic renovation that included a second story addition and covered parking. Stepping back the second floor provides an outdoor deck and reduces the apparent size of the building in reference to the residential scale of the surrounding neighborhood.
