The Avila Lighthouse Suites resort hotel is the centerpiece for the main street of Avila Beach. Completed in 2006, the hotel includes 54 guest suites and occupies an entire block. Amenities include ocean views from each room, conference facilities and underground parking. Clustered around a pool and activities area, the design, massing and color scheme of the buildings are reminiscent of the 1940s beach bungalows found in the early development of Avila Beach.
