This is the first phase of a seismic retrofit and restoration of the historic Johnson Block in downtown San Luis Obispo. Three adjacent retail spaces with unreinforced brick walls were retrofitted and reconstructed. The building facade was restored with new storefronts and face brick detailed to match historic photographs of the building.
