This historic downtown San Luis Obispo building required an extensive seismic retrofit to accommodate a new jeweler studio and retail sales business. Many years of tenant alterations were removed as the building was stripped to the basic structural elements. Architectural finishes were restored where possible and recreated elsewhere to provide an attractive showroom for the owner’s jewelry business.
